© Kirth Bobb 2026Auctus was born out of a simple realization: doing the work and building what sustains it are two different crafts. We help mission-driven businesses stay focused on what they do, while we strengthen the systems behind them, define what their story is and who they should be telling it to, and pursue the funding that fuels it. We create a space where they can concentrate on doing, while we focus on making what they do more possible.
You know your destination, but we'll help you build a map and a plan to get there - including gas station pit stops and podcast recommendations.
Learn how to talk about your work so clients, funders, and partners are not only informed, but are inspired and moved to act.
We'll take you through exercises and workshops that will help investigate pain points, expose inefficiencies, and identify long-term solutions.
We help you identify sources of funding, technical assistance, and support, so you can get the help you need to implement your strategy.
We help you plan, generate, and communicate wins, so your culture can harness their momentum and your leadership can lead better.
Our founders, Eliza Chard and Hanad Ali, come from two very different fields. Eliza has a 20+ career in international development and non-profit management, while Hanad leveraged a 25+ year career in advertising to pivot into a lucrative commercial photography and directing business. They charted two paths that seemed like they would never cross.
Through consulting, Eliza realized that many of the non-profits she worked with were doing incredible and innovative work but none of them knew how to talk about it. This skill-gap was not only affecting how they fund-raised, it also affected how they worked with clients and, most importantly, how they thought of themselves. It was clear that the presence of good storytelling is not only crucial for growth, but it's absence can stunt progress.
Auctus is a response to the belief that helping organizations with their only strategy is incomplete without helping with their story as well.
